"If you give a person a fish, they eat for a day. If you teach a person to fish, they eat for life." Tutoring allows students to complete assignments through guided assistance. In my intervention work with students, we go beyond individual assignments and develop powerful skills that they can utilize in multiple contexts. Students can be energized, life-long learners when we target holistic skill production.

Summer Skill Growth/Maintenance: Multiple exposures, one-on-one learning, and sustained practice have been shown to help promote student growth. Therefore, it is important to keep practicing these skills even over a long break like summer. 

If you are interested in my services, I recommend two or more, 2 hour sessions per week to promote skills.
