Inside my classroom, students are able to re-imagine what school looks like. I creatively re-invigorate reading and writing strategies. For example, students participate in Spells and Scrolls, a cooperative storytelling game that develops encoding and decoding skills. I see trends like Among Us, Wordle, and Flappy Bird as pedagogical devices in a space where students own their own learning. Students work with me to foster a new framework for learning.
